New York state of blah ....

Two pretty awesome things happened this past weekend.
First of all, we got some sunshine!! We've been stuck with this ugly weather
for what seemed like forever, and finally it's gone!!
Second, I got out of PA, and took a lil trip up to the state of NY.
Unfortunately, I thought it was going to be nicer. Western NY doesn't really
have much to offer.The lake is ugly up there, and the little towns are pretty tired
looking. I didn't take as many pics as I did when I went down to Ohio.















See ... BORING!!




And that's all, really. On the way home, I stopped off at two thrift stores.
Nothing to write home about really. I think unless I'm going to the city of
New York, I'll save my trips for exploring more of Pennsylvania and Ohio for now.
Next stop ..... Pittsburgh or Cleveland!! (hopefully)

Just passing throuh ....

I was lucky enough to catch a few freights rolling through this week.
Unfortunately, my stupid phone ran out of memory in the middle of shooting.
Rookie mistake on so many levels, I know.







There was a Jabber head on one, but I wasn't able to catch it.
Seeing Jabber & Diar roll through made me hella homesick.
Blah!!

Snow on Presq Isle

Took a trip out to the lake.
It was pretty, but still cold.
The ice is breaking apart on the lake, which is pretty cool,
I guess it's a sign that spring is coming.















It's all pretty depressing looking.

Snow & Art

This week was drab because the snow came back.
We had a few days of semi nice weather but not so much anymore.



I got some awesome art from Alfie Numeric.
She's a pretty fresh artist out of Los Angeles.

A few walls

I've had enough!!



Ice, ice baby! ugh



I was able to find a few spots worth shooting yesterday.









Those were the only walls to shoot.
So I just shot the area around there.
Never thought I'd have to track through snow to shoot anything.







All in all, a typical, boring, cold ass week in Erie.

Will it EVER stop!!!???

Another cold & snowy week here.



EVERYWHERE you look ...





Then we had somewhat of a storm & the snow was falling like crazy & the wind was blowing. It was so cold. The temperature was somewhere around 10F



We then had a small break in the snowing and the clouds parted. That was pretty sweet!



Down by the lake was the coldest air I have ever felt in my life. I felt like I had no clothes on. It was FREEZING!!!



My favorite shot of the week. Took this one Sunday (yesterday). It was hanging over the front door to my job. No one ever uses the front door, I had just went out to get the newspaper and this was damn near to the top of my head.



I ended up breaking it down because I thought it was too dangerous (and I wanted to hold it like a sword, but it broke)

So, another uneventful week. I can't wait until the weather improves and then I can take a trip down to Pittsburgh!!!
